Communication station

Communication station is basic module for communication with terminals (reading units). It can work as background service of Windows NT/2000/XP.

• communication with connected terminals through RS232, RS485, modems or LAN (TCP/IP),
• on-line graphical monitoring - state of terminals, state of connected sensors
• remote configuration of whole system
• remote control of terminals (opening of an electric lock on the door, blocking the door)
• collecting and recording data to the database
• recording of events to logs with separate file for every terminal
• providing information to card holders on terminal displays ( 2 messages with 20 letters or 15 messages with 16 letters)
• enabling card holders to choose from maximum of 2560 additional work interruptions
• providing communication resources for basic WIS modules, which is therefore able to communicate with terminals
• automatic start of task scheduled in basic WIS modules
• on-line processing of tasks edited by WIS administrator (initialization of terminals, record of allowed cards)
• monitoring of presence
• evaluating number of persons in separate zones
